disappointed in the fact that Christmas Day lunch is fully booked, although we rang to ask price for Christmas Day one week and were told to ring back the next week as no menu price was arranged at that time , when we phoned back the next week we were told that it was fully booked, Very very disappointed.

we would of course have booked you in if we had any places left!
I have to say most of the bookings we have taken are from customers that just wanted to be here on Christmes day and paid deposits without the menu or the prices.

Both myself and Mel have informed customers making Enquireies that we had very few places left. 32 of the people booked were with us last year and they made sure that they had places with us this for year. Some of them booked as early as january this year. Sorry if you feel Disapointed.

Had a drive out with my girlfriend a couple of Saturdays ago looking for somewhere to eat. Mel made us very welcome and even got my lady drinking Bombay gin which was a first. Great meal, mega friendly staff ( the night even produced a power cut which was instantly remedied with a supply of candles) . A few drinks at the bar and a really top relaxing night. Although we live in Rochdale we have told lots of people about you place and will definitely be back very soon.

Pleasant hosts. good food, wine and beer at a very reasonable price. The early-bird and senior citizens meals are exceptional good value for money. To be highly commended.

Halifax Imperial Wheelers Annual Dinner and Prize Presentation Saturday 24th November, 2007
The Branch is a warm welcoming place with very friendly staff, comfortable seating and nice decor. As organiser of a sit down dinner for 60 I was very glad of all the help Baz and Mel gave me leading upto the night(Baz knew I was getting stressed!) and for the hard work of the whole team on the night to make it a succesful one.
The dishes on each course were tasty and different - the chocolate souffle was mouth watering! Everyone has said what a great night they had and we are all set to go again in 2008 when hopefully we will have an even more succesful evening with new exciting food choices to let the taste buds tackle.
